All gates are hand made from cleft wood, and as a result, they incorporate the natural curves of the trees they came from.

I make two styles of gate:

• 5 bar with draw pegged mortise and tenon frame and lapped dovetail bracing. 5 bar gates can be made to fit openings from 3 ft up to 12ft wide.
Prices for a 5 bar gate start at £450.

• Picket, a lighter option with through mortise and tenon joints and copper nails. These can be made to fit openings between 3ft to 4ft.
Prices for these start at £300.

I offer an installation service and can supply either sawn weather pointed posts or peeled round poles for a more rustic look.
