Hand turned and carved
Bowls and spoons
My interest in woodwork began with turning bowls and carving spoons, and I still love to do both of those things.
Most of my turning is done on an electic lathe ( a Union Graduate), but I do enjoy turning on a pole lathe as well.
I enjoy making everything on the lathe, from utilitarian plates and bowls for daily use to large sculptural pieces.
I sometimes turn chestnut if I have anything of sufficient diameter, but most of my turning wood comes from local tree surgeons.
I usually have a small selection of bowls and spoons in stock. Please get in touch if you have something in mind.
